PROJECT Sepsis AI
Project Sepsis AI is about creating quantitative value in caregivers’ comments on the likelihood of a child having or developing sepsis through the lens of a machine learning model integrating Emergency Medical Records data.
We hope to enhance clinicians’ abilities to make risks analysis by providing more information to clinicians in these scenario.
A secondary objective and deliverable for this project is to build a dashboard, allowing clinicians to compare a specific patient’s metrics to general trends.
PROJECT Triage AI
Project Triage AI aims to develop and validate an algorithm capable of identifying risk of difference in treatment in emergency departments arising from combinations of attributes recorded at point of ED presentation with the aim of:

Identifying cohorts of individuals susceptible to systemic bias previously unidentified.

Creating an EMR compatible software product capable of identifying when a patient is at increased risk of bias and alerting in such cases with hopes of improving triaging accuracy.
